Yellowish tint sediment bottom, walls and ladder but Chems Okay. Need suggestions

Pool has been doing awesome. No issues all season.....but... We've had terrible rain here the last couple of weeks. After rain I usually have dirty pool bottom which I vacuum up. Check chems and balance. All good. Noticed the last couple days that pool bottom kept getting dirty. Rain every...

Help wth pump & filter selection on small ABG.

That's what I was thinking. The age of everything warrants a replacement. The previous owner may not have properly maintained the equipment well. A combo package sounds ideal. Just wondering if a 3/4 hp would be sufficient. I think it might be. I like the bigger filters on the 1 HP combo...

Trying to ditch my hose vacuum. Any battery Cordless Stick Vacuum recommendations?

We have a small 15' round AGP. It stays pretty clean except for the bottom (sand, silt, grass, etc.). Typical bottom debris. I hate dragging out the hose vacuum for small cleanings. Considering a hoseless cordless vacuum for occasional quick cleaning. Any recent product recommendations? Only...

Brain Pick - Need some feedback on chlorine usage, CYA level and testing

FC target 6 FC before daily chlorine addition 3 CC 0-0.5 PH 7.4 TA 120 CH 80 Current CYA 30. New CYA target 40. Will be testing and adding CYA soon. Last week, my FC was getting really low everyday (1-1.5) and I was using 25 -30 oz. per day. So I did a CYA test and of course it was under 30...

So far A trouble free pool. (knock on wood) Hoping to keep it trouble free.

Thanks for the reply and advise. Will watch out for the Tabs effects and CYA. I mainly am testing the disolve rate. I may need to rely on the feeder while we are out of town. Looks like one tab might last a week even if I crank up the feed rate. How would I find out or calculate how much a...

Started my SLAM last Friday on a new to us above ground pool that was basically a swamp. Everything was going well until I started noticing water loss. Fearing a leak I tried to finish my SLAM so I could get in and investigate liner with goggles. Well last night I was brushing and getting rid...
