Run it down and refill with fresh chlorine. Liquid chlorine looses strength over time and when warm so continually topping it off will cause you to always have weakened bleach. I buried my tank to keep it as cool as possible.

Just curious, how come the parts list shows the original SPX3210C impeller to be 1 HP when it’s a 1.5 HP pump?

I already have a bad motor and the impeller needs to be pulled to replace the motor. Also, a Jandy valve would be quite noisy when it’s throttled down and I want to save energy.

Does anyone have an Amazon link to buy the black 1/4” tubing and fittings to use on Stenner pumps? I use Locke Well and Pumps for my Stenner parts but I just need tubing and fittings. I want it quickly and don’t want to pay shipping for such a small purchase.

I want to clarify the sensor is wireless from the sensor through the hub to the relay controlling the sprinkler valve. There is a small wire coming out of the bottom of the sensor going into the pool. I mounted it on the backside of the pool in an inconspicuous place.

Mine works fine. I cut the 3/4” PVC pipe after the manual fill valve/back flow preventer combo and installed the sprinkler control valve.

I went with the Yolink and it works great. And it IS wireless. I used a standard sprinkler valve and wireless relay instead of the motorized valve.

My Hayward Pro Logic pool controller had a couple extra unused relays and I used one of those. It has to be interlocked with the main filter pump so it won’t run without the filter pump running.

I’m looking for a practical way to add an auto fill to my existing pool. Pool was built in 2015 and I have a manual 3/4” fill line run to one of the skimmers. I’m thinking maybe there is a place to install an electronic water level sensor and add an automatic valve actuator on the fill line.

The 2 pumps I listed above will overcome 100 PSI main pump. More than enough.

He said he put the light switch on temporarily for testing purposes (I wouldn’t have done that as I would have jumped it out to test). Not properly grounded is an assumption.

I disagree with that statement. As long as the pump is properly repaired and properly wired in (including proper grounding and bounding) there is no reason to replace it.

2 purposes… to prevent a vacuum from building up as the liquid level goes down, and that’s where the 1/4” tubing going to the pump passes through the tank.
