Can I take the cartridge out of my filter and remove the drain plug at the bottom of the filter container and vacuum to waste this way?

In the process of having an above ground pool installed, going to have a 2 speed pump and a stenner pump chlorine dispenser. I will need two separate timers, correct? What is recommended and how to wire them?

Installing stenner pump and looking for answers on how high i can mount pump above my 55 gallon barrel? Is 36 inches above tank to high? The tank is also 36 inches tall so the pump would have to pump chlorine from 70 below.

I was going thru the same problem, pretty blue cloudy water for a week, I ended up adding the recommended amount of clarifier and the pool cleared up some and then did another dose 2 nights later and it turned crystal clear.
