Maybe. I guess the water will freeze in the channel still? Which makes me nervous bc it is such a small spot? Excuse my ignorance.. how would the water still circulate to the spa if it doesn’t flow over. I’ll have to ask my pool person.

Has anyone ever done it and did help with ice collection? I’m not going to run it once the freeze hits. Just maybe get the pool to 60-70 in advance? I know all about freeze protect and still run pumps etc.

Well I'll try it again tonight perhaps and report back again. Seems like it was too much air for the fix to be so simple. But fingers crossed!
