Loose white power on top of random coping tiles

Today I noticed loose white powder sitting on top of 4-5 coping tiles. The affected coping tiles were not batched together. I am attaching a photo but it may be hard to make out the powder because the coping is white. Any idea what this is? My pool Math log results FC 8.5, PH 7.4, TA 60...

Tile adhesive on top of grout

I just had the tiling completed on my pool and while I am pleased overall, there are numerous tiles that appear to have the underlying adhesive on top of the grout (pics below). Is this something that is typically seen? If there an easy fix?

    Coping question

Hello, The tile contractor was out the other day installing the travertine coping. They are not finished yet but the coping around the hot tub makes the shape more angular than circular and my wife is not really pleased. I am thinking of asking them to grind some of the outside edges to try...

    Help - Waterline tile choice

Let me start by saying I’m terrible at envisioning pieces into a finished product. I’m getting to the point where I need to pick coping, waterline tile and raised beam finishes. I am thinking of using a light colored travertine for the coping (photo below). I am also thinking of one of the...

    How does a SWCG work?

This may be a dumb question but it has been bugging me. This is probably incorrect but I am imagining a SWG pulling the chlorine from the salt which would leave sodium as a byproduct. If that's the case how does the salt reconstitute itself for reuse in the cycle?

    SWG and high PH water

I am currently getting bids on a new pool and asked for the PB's to add a SWG to the quote. As others have mentioned on other posts the PB's have been discouraging SWG with the primary complaint that a salt system will raise the PH level of the water. I called our MUD to determine the PH...
