With the Hayward W3EC50AC, do I have to align markings on lid and body (there are a few), or can I orientate lid any way I want prior to tightening down the clamp? Thanks

I was going through my pump and filter boxes to get an idea how everything goes together and noticed with the EC50AC, I did not receive item #27, 28, 22, 23, 26, or 31. Were they supposed to come with filter?? Thank you.
