Can peromonosulphate drastically reduce ph? I ask this as my spa ph dropped off the scale and chloring readings were at zero despite have ing been added daily.

I understand that after monopersulfate has been added, that the regular Taylor test kit will not give accurate CC readings without using a special test reagent. How long should I wait before using the regular Taylor drop test? In other words, would the MPS be permanently affecting tests?
