The only thing I can think of is the heat pump is drawing too much power due to some kind of internal issue

The home panel is 200amp and should have plenty of power to manage the pool and house. The main panel 200amp is not tripping, but the non-GFCI breaker in the main panel that is bringing power out to the pool

I will get a picture tonight, but the only things on the sub panel is the heat pump and a 1.5hp Hayward pump

I like the idea, but how are you putting the cover back on? Do you get in the pool and put each section in, tie them together and then get out of the pool?

Done - I will turn the frog to zero in the morning and feed the pool a bunch of bleach. I also didn’t realize that the bac pacs add CYA. That could get messy fast!

if you were starting off from scratch what CYA level should people target?

Interesting feedback. The pool company really likes the frog and has had good success. My CYA is currently 45 and my pool is at the upper end of the Frog recommendation on 1ppm. What should I run the pool at for chlorine levels?

I have a mineral pool (FROG system) and the app is always yelling at my that I am out of the ideal chlorine range. Is there a way to edit the ideal ranges? If so, I can't seem to find it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I agree Dave - I entertained that idea, but with a fence attached to the pool this plan is rendered impossible. The second issue is the sheer weight and bulkiness of the cover. I am 6' and strong, but its just so dang bulky that it require me and my wife to man handle and my wife is already...

We are going to be putting on a deck next month. I think I am going to cut the cover in half and then try the Solar Roller. I can get one half the cover off easily from a deck. The question I need to answer is how to get the second half off. I think the only way to do it is to get in the pool...

I just had my 27' above ground installed last last week and only after 3 days I hate dragging the heavy 8 mil solar cover off the pool. I keep looking online and I also hate the reels with them splitting the round pool directly in half and then you need to remove the entire assembly or move it...

I have the TFP Test kit and my question is should begin adjusting the water conditions in a certain order (i.e. ph first, then alkalinity, etc)? Perhaps it doesn't matter? Should I shock it first and then adjust the water chemistry? Any advice is appreciated for this first time pool noobie...
