Lowest RPM that will activate Hayward Chlorinator…..

1500 sounds too low! I'm at 2900, 19.500 Gal pool. Will the SWCG stop immediately when the RPM gets too low…Or do you have to go check every couple hours to see if it turned off? Looks like Hayward would have it documented somewhere but I couldn't find it..

Why not vacuum yourself once a week instead of buying Crud that doesn't work? I mean unless available time is zero or you are 300lbs and don't want to do a little work. None of these moto cleaners seem worth it.

My unusual tile is installed :)

The ten guidelines for quality pool plaster is a bit much imo. That is guidelines for the person doing the work, not the consumer who has paid a contractor to do the work. i'm not about to stand over my workers and measure the amount of water they are using per batch, etc. They are the...

My unusual tile is installed :)

Have to take what you read with a grain of salt. If you read my first posts here you will see the answers I got vary quite a bit and only one was actually accurate to what needs and is being done. Seems the problematic tile is from Luanda Bay. It also seems to be tile that is exposed to...

New pool and something went wrong today while applying Stonescapes! Crews need to start over!

He said they ran out of material. They did not order enough. They started chipping away under the water line tile and around fixtures once they realized shortage. Been told a couple days of cleaning up and chipping away more from under the tile. Then a bonding agent will be applied and they do...

New pool and something went wrong today while applying Stonescapes! Crews need to start over!

Merged threads - mknauss TFP Mod I have faith in my contractor and trust him, but a crew/company he has used for 10 years miss judged on material, first time ever they say. They will cut away under tile line, fixtures, and marking tiles on steps and start over. A bonding agent will be applied...

New pool and something went wrong today while applying Stonescapes! Crews need to start over!

Yea I understand stuff happens and I'm not too concerned as long as the end product looks like it should. And as long as this bad application doesn't cause problems down the road. But I did notice the layer on the sundeck is really thick and if the second application will have to be thinner...

New pool and something went wrong today while applying Stonescapes! Crews need to start over!

Having Stonescape installed I was aware of the different phases of the build, however. Mini Stonescapes was being applied today and next thing I see is crews chipping 2 inches away under the tile at the waterline, around all fixtures, and around tile on steps. The sundeck had a 2sq' section...
