Can you talk to me about testing the CYA? So it says to add water until you can no longer see the black dot...will the tube only goes up to 30 and at that point I can still see the black dot...how do I get an accurate cya reading? I’ve just been putting 30 since that’s as far as tube goes.

Well I did it...you're right it was pretty simple. The only thing I struggled with was the colors..like when it said keep adding drops until it turns from blue to red... so like are we talking cherry apple red or ripe watermelon red. LOL I ended up doing each test twice to make sure I was doing...

This is my first year doing pool things. I made a post earlier and you all recommended taking out all granules and only using bleach. I have been doing that for a little over a week until my Taylor K2006C kit came yesterday. Pool went from a swamp to blue and cloudy with the bleach...

Wow that’s awesome after 12 hours!! And that kit is just so overwhelming lol. Do this, then multiply..?? I’m trying it tomorrow and will hopefully be able to get it correctly!

My kit just came today...and I feel like I need a PhD to figure out how to do this? I've found 2 youtube videos but dont know what im testing for? Are there any helpful videos to help guide me?

@Texas Splash is there anything I can put in the pool to clear it so I can see leaves at bottom of pool? I’ve been doing the bleach every night past 2 nights as you suggested. Kit isn’t supposed to arrive until June 1.
