All the electrical runs were included in our price. The distance estimates were put in at the start and there was never any suggestion that if they were wrong (ie the PB sales guy measured them wrong) that we would have to make up the difference. I'd take it up with the PB and see what they can do.

I record rainfall as well - helps me keep an eye on how much wash out is occurring. This would be a good optional measurement.

I don't have one of those or any specific mechanism to bond the water - is one needed when you have low voltage LED lights? I do have a heater permanently in the water circuit, does that negates the requirement?

Having watched the PB replace one of the lights, pulling the cable out and then fitting the new one wasn't that difficult. If you wanted to service just the light it wouldn't be too difficult to pull enough out to work on it and feed it back in once you've finished.

I was asking specifically about doors from the house that lead to the area adjacent to the pool. I've rung several numbers for Pearland city but not found a human that I can talk to regarding this - too many automated phone systems these days!

No recommendations on the city web site and the past posts I've read are inconclusive. Reading between the lines I suspect the ineffective device would be acceptable. I'll try and ring the city tomorrow and get some advice which I'll post here if its constructive.
