Just make sure you blow the water out and then close the valve on the main drain.

I believe you are talking about Backswimmers.....they are very fast and will dive underwater.....I get a few here and there......mostly there is not much you can do about them. Just make sure your FC is on target and some say adding borates helps keeps bugs away.

We are still getting dirt in the pool after the pump has been running. Is there any advice on how to narrow down how this dirt is getting back into the pool? Thanks.

We are definitely going to be cleaning that once a year. The water was a dirty brown when we first started running the water through it.

My husband was recently talking to a relative and telling them how I use bleach to sanitize our pool. This relative told my husband that you shouldn't let her listen to any forum because the bleach will ruin the vinyl liner. My response to my hubby when he told me.....ummm he's pool...

We let it overflow and over turned the sand from the bottom......got alot of gunk out and I agree, totally gross !!!!

Re: Liner source / vendor recommendation for new pool Urgent We ordered an inground liner for our pool last spring and had great service from In the Swim.com They also sell above ground ones too.

Try running some water over your pump basket. If the air pocket in the pump basket goes away, probably a bad seal.

It would help if you could post a pic of what you are trying to clean.

We have an inground pool, and we just bought a new liner for ours last spring from In The Swim online. We had a great experience with them. They sell both above ground and inground liners.

American Sales, 4 gallons of 12.5% for 9.96. This is the same price as last year. They say it should be that price all season.
