Take a yard stick, preferably plastic and measure the height of the water. That's what you can put into Pool Math to figure the number of gallons in your pool. ie. 14' round at 3.7' deep calculates to 4300 gallons.

We have a set of Main Access stairs for our AGP and the metal upper rails have corroded and broken off below the step tread. The left over pieces are lodged in an insert "tunnel" and we cannot get them out. There is no way to access the "tunnel". We've tried pulling out the metal pieces but they...

WooHoo! Now let the FC drop to the upper range for your CYA level. When FC is below 10 you can test pH. Post your test results: FC, CC, pH, TA, CYA You can test for CH for a base level if you like put it's not important. A vinyl pool does not need additional calcium.

In order to replace the bottom rails, it requires a complete tear down. It looks like you have worked thru a lot. Let us know how you resolve it. :wave:

The pool looks great! Don't despair. It will get better. You have to use chlorine until the SWG is hooked up. So there's no need to add salt. Hope you have a great vacation.

Inquiring minds want to know: Did you pass the OCLT?

Did you check INYO pools for replacement parts? Some people have sprayed pools metal with anti rust sprays. Consider checking the walls for rust and possibly spraying that. Rust will not stop if it is not removed completely. Spraying it might slow it down. Current rust will continue to rust...

Did you check around to see if you could get away with replacing only the bottom rails? My pool is 17 years old but I don't know if today's doughboy's hold up the same. Maybe. Look into an all resin pool, which includes the bottom rails being resin, top rails and some even have resin walls...

When you say your liner shrunk, did you use an old liner? When was it drained and how long did it stay dry? When installing the pool, are there instructions on how to make sure the uprights are/stay plumb vertically? Is the liner touching against the wall, cove and bottom without gaps/air space...

Are you an elementary school or kindergarten teacher? :ROFLMAO: Although all of us at one time needed "hand holding", humor and P.O.P. to get us thru the stress of turning our pools from green to clear. (Pool Owner Patience) :snorkle:
