I have been to Hayward training a few times. I just wanted to know if the sensor selected for water had to actually be in water… 🤷‍♂️ not much info on that. I have a ton of sensors left from OmniPL installs. They send 3 in case you have a spa but most installs it’s just a pool.

Yeah everything hooked and in the right spot. I haven’t switched out the sensor yet to see if it’s bad.

Yes. I don’t think you can double tap to the same relay and have both transformers running. So it will be a little different setup than your old controller . You will have to activate the light groups separately. Unless anyone else thinks you can double tap or use both sets of contacts on the relay.

Most low voltage transformers have 3 taps of different voltage 12 13 and 14. You could try looking at which one you are wired to and go for the lower one.

I do post construction/concrete clean up for all of our jobs. We had a broken filter that I fixed and an undersized pump we would never use. If the water wasn’t too bad I would use the filter. If it was horrible I would just vac to waste. Hayward c4030 filter and a vsp 500. David and Goliath.

OmniHub will control the tristar 900 through the rs485 com bus. Control the speeds and set schedule. Way better than using HVR.

Anytime and Omni hub,Pl, or Logic has complete control of a device that requires a flow switch it needs to be plugged into the Omni. You could just get another flow switch if you have the room to plumb it up. If you put your Aquarite into slave you should not have to plug flow switch into it.

Yeah bad return placement. One in splash pad one opposite of the skimmer and one opposite of the splash pad would be ideal.

Yeahp. Firmware update everything. Make sure the dip switches on the pump are set correctly. Make sure the breaker to the pump is off for 10 minutes before changing dip switch settings.
