Thanks. My SLAM went nice. Coz I guess I over-bleached! I couldn't find my CYA bottles yesterday and it was getting dark. So just estimated 40 CYA a put in that much of bleach. Now CC is a already down to 0.5.

On a side note, just a question, does the brand of stabilizer matter? Thinking of getting Pool Mate CYA. Its cheaper than most other brands i see. Looks like my CYA is down to 0. Don't ask me how. :crazy: I don't think I messed up the testing.

Hmm... The overnight test went well. Tested at 01:00 last night and tested at 08:45, an FC loss of only 0.5. And CC is at 0.5. Baffled really! :( Is it the sun that is eating out the chlorine?

Ah! That helps. My current CYA is 50. So i guess, lots of bleach to buy!! Well my pool passes the first step even now. I have 0 CC! :)
