I have a Hayward Heat Pro heat pump and it doesn’t seem to be working as efficiently as it had in the past. Is there any maintenance I
need to do such as clean any filters or other general cleaning/maintenance?

Only thing you can do is clean the heat exchanger.

There is a good chance it is low on refrigerant. You need an HVAC tech with the proper gauges and an EPA certificate to check that.
