Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has a solution to stop my hose from kinking up when it exits the pool. I'm sure it's slowing down the discharge rate.

Those hoses are meant to be support along their length. I’d suggest you support it or find another hose that can handle bends better.
try taping a pvc sweep elbow , hopefully ( you have one laying around from past projects).
I move my pump further into the pool so the hose exits on a 45 instead of a 90. @PoolStored built a pvc snorkel 90 so the hose attaches at patio level and lays flat.
Thanks - it is more of a 45 but it still kinks a bit. I may just have to wait it out this year and prepare better if I ever have to do this again.
Get a short piece of 2" flex PVC and put the hose through that to make a smooth transition.
Basically, anything to smooth out the transition.
