Jan 2025 IG pool build in Georgia, need liner re set!!!!

17 degrees this morning, there's NO WAY I am jumping in on Monday, although temps back to 60 on Sunday, and low 70's after that. Weather down here this year has either been warmer than normal, or colder than normal. Crazy year.

Here's a view from bedroom. More than likely double french doors will be installed in place of the windows. At least that's what the wife wants. It would look nice, no doubt.View attachment 629030
I vote for doors 🙋‍♀️ since we’re spending your $$ 🤣

BTW, obviously we went with the dark blue liner. Royal Amber. Looks nothing like the visualizer on the Latham site, but we expected it as the small sample was much darker than the visualizer. Do I wish it was slightly lighter? Yes, but we all know it will fade as time goes on. Also, checked water meter. We are at 14,500 gallons total for water. The online calc estimated 17k. I thought 17k was a bit high.
Once its all balanced & filtered it will look different.

They are supposed to come out today and fire everything up. We do have some wrinkles though on the liner at the waterline. Builder claims they will get them out. I am a bit concerned, but she was not. She mentioned this week being warmer, they will fix them. There's none on the bottom, and below the waterline though.

What's sod going for a foot this year ? I didn't even bother getting a quote in '22 because HomeDepot was selling strips for $10 each and I needed 1/3 of an acre.

$200 a pallet, which covers 500sq ft. I need 11 pallets. Oh, and $300 a pallet to install. But installation includes all the final grading and tying back into the existing grass. So, yes, a crudton of money. Double the budget I had for it, but due to some medical things going on with me, and well... turning into an old man, I'm paying someone. 10 years ago, I would be doing the install myself. Up north on my pool, I just prepped soil, and threw down grass seed. Had a lawn in 1month. Down here seeded Bermuda grass looks horrible, so sod it is
