Please educate me on replacement of my lousy LED lights (SAVI Melody)

I've seen a few other forum members here complaining about the same over the years. My 2012 pool construction included SAVI Melody LED lights, and per some of the install documentation I saved, they reside in a 1.5 inch threaded housing, then cable runs through a very long conduit run to a 12V transformer where all my pool electrical, pump, filter, etc. reside. These lights were rarely ever used, but both lights have failed.
I understand Jandy bought SAVI years ago. Do I have any other option for repair/replacement aside from fully replacing each light and pulling wire through conduit?
If that is the only option, will any 1.5" 12V compatible LED light work? Any recommendations on brand - especially any lower cost lights that have held up for anyone - would be greatly appreciated.
Finally, if I try to tackle this DIY, do I need to drain water below the level of the light fixture or is it okay f that conduit floods? Vinyl liner pool if that is a consideration.
Any guidance on this is greatly appreciated - I'm going to get some local estimates too, but I'm guessing my usual pros will be quite expensive to replace two lights. I'd still like to know the process so at least I can discuss intelligently with them.

Nope.

Any that fit. Check depth as well as diameter.

Read the Wiki.

Conduits are designed to flood.

Lots of YouTube videos on light replacement and pulling wires. Sometimes the pull is easy and sometimes not. Depends on the condition of your wire and conduit. There is 3M wire pulling lube that helps.
