Pentair Master Temp E05

I can’t figure this one out. My master temp turns on and about 30 seconds in, I get the E05 code and the heater shuts off. I’ve replace the sensor once, worked once and then back to the 30 threshold and turns off.

I cleaned out the intake just in case and posted something about cutting a hole in the side panel in case it was an intake issue.

As a Hail Mary I bought another sensor just to see if it would work. It worked twice. Came back in the afternoon and it worked again. Great! Problem solved. Spa got up to 95 degrees. Kids were playing for awhile and when I checked the temp/heater I saw the E05 code again. I’ve tried 3 times to see if it would fire up again and we’re back to 30 second threshold.

I have no idea what this could be. Has anyone run into this before? Any ideas how to move forward?

Where are you getting your SFS from? Even Pentair has had a bad batch.
