Pool cover and reel advice

Hi all

Long time since last post.

I'm after a cover + reel for the attached.
What should I look for:
1- the pricey recommendation from the pool shop
2- cheaper options from eBay and the likes (Sun2Solar cover; Vingli reel; etc...)

Also, would 12mm be thick enough? Shop quoted 6mm, seems thin?

Pool shop quoted: $650 (cover Daisy 525) + $540 (reel Daisy A75) + $385 (install)

The solar covers don’t live forever no matter how thick they are (usually a couple seasons) so the cheapest one is just as good.
The reel however is worth investing in a good one.
