Those filter cartridges add copper to your water. Do not replace with the same kind. Get a plain filter.

ahh thanks for letting me know I had no clue. That all they had locally I’ll order the white ones not yellow. I was kind of wondering if why they were yellow.

You can use them until they need replacement. The copper is likely already in the water. Cartridges should last 5+ years.

So I’m reading in the forums and there seems to be some mixed information but overall it appears that it’s safe to swim even though the SLAM process as long as CYA/FC ratio is met?

Update: can barely see the bottom got in brushed everything. FC 12. Tested the CYA again it seems to be between 32-40 was 40 before perhaps that’s my perception holding at waist level.

Pool color deeper blue/cloudy.

Blue is good - it will turn blue before the cloudy clears up. The cloudy is dead algae that will take a while to filter as it continues to die

Looks fantastic 🤩
Remember- going forward aim for high target 🎯 or a scootch above to give yourself plenty of wiggle space between you & minimum for your cya. & Replenish before broaching minimum
