Hello! I saw in a previous post it was said that a person could change from a standard plug to a twist-lock without any issue. What about the reverse? Can I just put a regular GFCI household plug on a twist-lock without any issues? I was concerned because the twist-lock was 20 a and the household was 15 a. My electrical box is snug and it would make my life easier. Thank you for your advice!

Circuit breaker is 30a, gfci, not sure gauge of wire-have pic of it next to mechanical pencil. Wondered if I could replace current 15a receptacle with 20a receptacle. Only other thing plugged in is the sump pump on occasion.

You did not show me the data plate on the side of the pump motor that shows the amps it uses.
I didn't see a data plate on the pump, but these are the specs I was able to garner: pump is SFX1500, 180 watts, 3.1a, 0.23hp.
