Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to confirm if you have algae.
SLAM Process to eliminate it.
But if you brush it and it doesn't poof up, it might be a metal stain (iron or copper.)
You need a K-1766 salt test kit. Don't ever trust your SWCG readout - they're often very wrong.

It doesn't poof so I don't think it's algae. My FC has been 6-8 for weeks. I actually went to the pool store to use expiring credits so got it tested while I was there. Iron was 0 copper 0.1. rest of the numbers are from my test kit. I'll do OCLT though.
