Small Saltwater Pool, are my numbers looking good? I was a little concerned about the pH. Should I be? My numbers are mostly the same 98% of the time.

TA 70
pH 7.8
Salt 2400
Calcium 50 - I normally don't check this, did it for fun today

Temp 88

Looks good. The only thing that stands out is your salt level. At 2,400 is your salt cell still generating chlorine? The manual for yours says 2,500 to 3,500. Your calcium is low, but shouldn't matter with an Intex with no heater, as long as you do not have any tile or concrete/plaster surfaces.

For your question on pH, 7.8 is totally fine. Just knock it down a bit with acid when it hits 8.0.

I would say my generator is making chlorine. It's at 9 and I don't use any other chlorine products. I have thought about raising it a little.

I would still keep my salt level at 3200 minimum…just to ensure no issues. I’d add 20 lbs based on your pool and PoolMath.
