Hi there we have a 18 round pool with a hayward 1 hp pump, i vaccumed it after cleaning and our pressure has dropped from 10ish to 5, just wondering what anyones ideas might be, skimmer is clean , pump basket is clean.

You may have clogged the pump impeller with debris that got through the basket.
What is best way to check and clean this? Thank you for your response
You don't say which pump you have. Power off. Block skimmer and return lines. Open the pump, remove the basket, and reach into the opening. You'll feel the impeller and anything that may be blocking the impeller inlet (eye). A small wire with a small hook bent into the end can be used to clear it in most cases.
Hey so sorry for late response, this is exactly what it was , i did what u suggested and i found plant or tree debris in the impeller, psi is back to 10ish now, which is awesome,huge thanks!
