Aquarite is reading 4800 salt level. Had water tested pool place says salt is at 3600. I had a bad salt cell, replaced my cell with an over sized Blue Works T-9 version. I had a t3. I have changed the cell type on the board, reset salt level etc... board is still reading high. I am at a loss.

I've found the reported salt levels from these controllers to be useless.
  • TRULY AND UDDERLY USELESS.

  • JUST IGNORE THEM AS LONG AS THE SWG IS OPERATING.

Even when the SWG is happy and operating, the salt levels the computer reports are just not reliable.

For example, when the SWG is mineral fowled, the computer will report "LOW SALT LEVEL." And the SWG will not have power. It will initially try to power the unit, but the computer will shut the mother down because while the SWG is mineral fowled, the computer knows nothing about what the real issue is.

That's because the computer is not smart enough to understand that the SWG is fouled.

This is a very simple software issue that I don't understand why it does not get fixed.

Get a kit such as Taylor K-1766 to test your salt level, or take your water sample down to Leslie's to find your true salt level.

My Taylor K-1766 and Leslie's computerized "disc system" agree to the salt level to a reasonable extent.

Make sure to have Leslie's run BOTH salt tests. The black, old fashioned machine they have always reads LOTS higher than the new-fangled computerized disc system they have.

The Leslie's computerized disc system ALWAYS agrees with my Taylor K-1766 results, more or less.
