I likely need to simply replace my Ultratemp as it’s been a PITA, but I digress. After replacing the membrane keypad and motor, our heat pump is starting, however every five minutes or so there is a loud noise from the heat pump and the electrical draw goes way up. I suspect the compressor but wondered if anyone had educated feedback. Much appreciated. I’ve included the graph from our energy monitor for additional insight. 40k watt usage spike every five minutes for that few seconds. I’ve shut it down.
