Really excited to find this forum. Nothing would make me happier than to fire Leslie’s……where should I start?
Those are words we love to hear!Nothing would make me happier than to fire Leslie’s
Just completed a long list from Leslie’s. The last 2 steps were Instant Conditioner followed by NoPhos. My new sand filter went from 15psi to 30psi overnight. Pool is now very cloudy. Backwashed to drop psi but I hate when my pool is cloudy. Leslie’s told me I should have waited 72hrs between the 2 steps and pointed out some small print just below the “Wait 2 hrs before proceeding to the next step” on their print out. Just got me thinking there has to be a better way and I happened upon this forum. Other than cloudy pool looks good. Attached todays test results from Leslie’s. Would just love to get away from them if possible. Those are words we love to hear!
1. Get a good test kit as recommended above. It's worth the money. Trust us.
2. Read everything you can in Pool School
3. Fill out your signature so we know what type of pool, size, and equipment you are working with.
4. What's the current status of your pool? Is it a green swamp and needs a SLAM or is nice and clear and you're just switching over to a simpler (and cheaper) way of life?
Thank you! Which test kit would you recommend for a 30,000 gallon/Pebble Tec/Chlorine pool?Welcome to the forum!

I suggest you read through Pool Care Basics - Trouble Free Pool and even look at a few of our videos TFP-TV - Trouble Free Pool
Thanks! I did read it, just wanted your advice. I’m sure you’ve forgotten more about pools than I’ll ever know!!I suggest a TFPro from TFTestkits.net. But read the article I linked. Gives you all the options.
