Intellicenter WiFi kit and connection

Hello, I’ve connected the WiFi kit to my intellicenter control panel. I followed the directions (which are quite confusing) and I’m getting the following errors shown in the photos provided.

It should be noted that I assume I did everything correctly because my panel says I am connected to the Internet. It just won’t let me connect through Wi-Fi. I continue to get the TCP error code. Or after rebooting the system and trying to connect to the Wi-Fi it continuously shows looking for devices and does not do anything else after that.

Any ideas?? TIA

Pentair does not make it simple to understand.

You have a 900MHZ High Powered bridge that does not use WiFi and makes it look like your IntelliCenter is connected to your router with a Cat5 cable even though part of the cable is wireless.

You do not try and connect with WiFi on your IntelliCenter panel. You do not want to try and discover any WiFi networks to connect to.

Power down the IntelliCenter and power it back up to reset it.

Then just move on to create the account on your panel screen.

Ok so how do I make it WiFi compatible?

Any suggestion why it gives me time out error when trying to create new account?

What version firmware is in your IntelliCenter? 1.047? 1.064? 2.006?

You need to be on 1.064 or 2.006 to get online connectivity.

Follow the instructions on the page below to update your firmware...

Have you downloaded the IntelliCenter2 app?

Ok so how do I make it WiFi compatible?

The IntelliCenter is "WiFi compatiable" when directly connected to your local network. Any WiFi device on your local network running the IntelliCenter2 app will be able to connect to the IntelliCenter once you get things setup.

Check your firmware level.

What was the trick to getting the IntelliCenter registration working?

From the main panel right?

I have the intellibrite 5G.. they are currently set as features not “lights”

The light power is connected to an AUX relay. That AUX relay function needs to be IntelliBrite.
