My pool motor has burned up and I need to replace the motor only. It's a 353132s. Any recommendations on other parts, seals, lube, etc that I need?

It's a direct swap on my 342001

Need to know what else I need to buy in addition to the 353134S

Inyo Pools has parts for the SuperFlo VS, see if they have a tune up kit w/ o-rings and shaft seal. They also offer the alternate vgreen evo motor that includes those parts. I see you don't have any automation system mentioned in your signature.

No automation for me. Just the settings on the 342001. I checked earlier them but they don't have the motor in stock.

How old is the pump?

I would probably get the whole pump as the price is not that much different and you will have other parts you need as well including at least a seal and gaskets and maybe other parts like a seal plate, impeller etc.

What exactly burned up?

Is the drive ok?

The relay in the DIG220 is only on/off, so that's not going to do much for a variable speed pump.
I just use the AutoPilot for the SWG.

Sorry I'm under the weather and perhaps am not making sense.
We went on vacation, the skimmer basket got so clogged that the pine needles broke through and into the wet side basket and it ran pretty much dry for a few days. I took the motor off and apart earlier and don't see any big signs of damage but it has a smoky smell and grinds really bad when on. Impeller, seals, and every thing look fine but it 100% doesn't sound fine.

The SuperFlo requires a 2.2 hp motor, so a 1.65 won't work.

The 270 has a real timer.

In any case, I think that the V-green was discontinued (I don't know for sure).

Any 2.2 or higher motor is going to be almost as expensive as a new pump.

Also, the pump is probably old and in bad shape.

That's confusing since the 342001 comes with a 1.5HP motor

If you decide to rebuild, you want to search google for "Pentair Superflo go kit"
This is a kit that includes all the o-rings and seals you need, including the shaft seal. The kit is cheaper than putting the kit together yourself. Will look like this...

It will include the shaft seal, but there are different levels of quality:

The go kits typically include the PS-201 shaft seal, they are serviceable, but I've had problems with both the basic service and premier. If you can afford, it, buy the PS-1908 in addition to the one that comes in the go-kit and keep the go-kit shaft seal as a spare. Use the 1908, it is pricey, but they last longer and work great.
