Hello all I’m considering placing Pollywood Adirondack chairs which are very heavy on my Diamond Brite plaster. It’s been two weeks since water was added. Should I have a concern about the weight of the chairs with the plaster fully cured?

Thanks
Rod

What does the leg of the chairs look like? Are they specifically designed for pool use? Sorry I am unfamiliar with them. Plaster is easy to scratch and chip so be careful if they don't have a wide foot preferably in wood or plastic that sits on the plaster surface.

I think the leg bottoms are wide enough but was trying to think of something wider I could place under the legs. Not sure what though. Here’s a photo of the chair thank for the reply.

I have seen pools that have stonework on the sun-decks (which really looks nice). I have regular plaster like you. You could do some testing but the problem is, when anyone is lounging they will tend to slide around (even just getting in/out of the chair) which is going to cause damage to the plaster. Perhaps if you put a large piece of plastic like used for office chairs under all 4 legs? We got chairs with the plan on putting them on the sundeck but changed our minds due to possible plaster damage.

We’ll these are heavy and won’t move not worries about sliding but just the weight what are your thoughts on that?
