Identifying and replacing lights

Apears to be an old fiber optics lens. Should be a tower somewhere your yard. Pretty much obsolete.

Don't remove it with the pool full, it will leak if it is fiber optic unless there is conduit or pipe back to the light tower.

There are options, depending on what is behind the lens.

So you would not suggest removing it to clean behind it to make sure I got all the algae (just did a SLAM) I think I’m good, but that was one of the suggestions. I do want to know if we can replace these with something else since they are no longer functioning, but that will clearly have to wait until we can get a good picture.

You would most likely introduce a leak if were to be removed. You would need the gasket or whatever was used to seal it in the first place to re-seal.
