Hello,
I'm sure the answer is out their but I can't find it....
I'm trying to set a schedule for my Pentair system that will run from 8PM-8AM with the first 3 hours at 2500RPM and the remaining 9 hours at 1800RPM.
It seems so simple, but I cant figure it out.
Is this something I set up with the APP, on the main control panel, or on the pump display?
Thank you

I find the Pentair system completely unintuitive. But I’m guessing the following, people will tell me if I’m wrong. Set the pool schedule 8am-8pm at 1800. Set the second schedule 8am-11am at 2500. Then run both. The higher power supersedes for the time of the second schedule.

Maybe I’ve figured out the “logic,” but maybe not. TBD.

That makes perfect sense and I've read that elsewhere. I don't understand how to assign a particular RPM with a particular schedule. I can make a schedule but how do I assign that schedule to a particular RPM?

jr.

Do you have ScreenLogic, I assume you do.

Each circuit can have one speed assigned to it. Other than the Pool and Spa circuit, you use Feature Circuits to assign more speeds.

Here is a list of my speeds, just to give you an idea how it works..

I have to ask... why those speeds at those times???

Thanks,

Jim R.

Hi Jim,
I'm currently downloading ScreenLogic. I think I tried using it a while back on my Mac and it didn't work. The times and speeds I mentioned were generic, I thought It would make the question/answer easier. I understand that there's a lot that factors into a pool schedule. Just trying to find the most economic yet efficient way to run my pool. Do you have any suggestions for a new pool owner on what works best? Or at least where to start? I live in Vegas if that helps with a suggestion.
Thank you

jr,

I run my IntelliFlo 24/7 as I do not have a time of use charge. I like making a little chlorine all the time and skimming all the time. I also like the idea of not starting and stopping my pump all the time.

I run at 1200 RPM because that turns my IC40 on and skims well. To do this, costs me less than $20 bucks a month.

You have a heater, so you will have to run at about 1600 RPM or so.

No matter what, you need to run your SWCG long enough to make the chlorine you pool will use each day.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thanks Jim,
I also like the idea of continuous operation. Unfortunately, ScreenLogic on a Mac doesn't look anything like the screenshot you shared. I'm not able to set circuits and speeds. Here's a screen shot of ScreenLogic from my phone.
