@dozer - Starting off, the water quality, I could almost see the bottom, and there was a layer of slime accumulated, but not many leaves. At first vacuuming it looked like our cartridge filter had failed, so I replaced it. I set my CYA at 40, (It was zero to start with), adjusted TA and pH where they needed to be, and then just brought TC up to 16 as per the SLAM chart and kept it there, testing morning, afternoon, and sunset. We vacuumed once or twice a day, and took out the stairs a couple times and gave them a quick scrub to disrupt any green that might have lodged there. Ran the filter 24 hours a day.
Mine took several weeks too but then I had a break through. I was so frustrated too. But, I wasn’t home 24 hours a day to stay on top of it. Keep going.
