I have a discrepancy between testing Taylor’s and Hayward reading. It’s quiet a large gap, 3300 on Hayward and 2600 with Taylor’s. Leslie’s read it at 2500. It’s producing chlorine. I reached out to PB today and Hayward and waiting to hear back. I’ve asked here a few times about this and feel confident that I know what to do but just want it confirmed with them first to make sure I don’t mess anything up.
I just checked and my amps are showing as zero even tho I have the chlorinator on. I have it low as I ran it high for 24 hours to fix a dip I had in FC following stabilizer and hard plus being added. It came up nicely so I’ve turned it down again - I’ve yet to master what percentage to have it at to keep it stable - gonna see what 10% does. I ran it for 8 hours at 80% and 6 hours @ 50%. Tested and it had gone up to 6.6 so now I’ve turned it down. Hopefully I’ll get the hang of this soon.
Should it be reading zero for amps or do I have a problem? Any suggestions on what percentage to run it at to maintain my current FC level?
