I noticed recently that my Pentair LED pool lights are not quite as "white" as they used to be. Two of them look a little yellowish. Upon closer inspection wearing googles and getting up close I can see that two of them have a couple of red led dots lit up within the many dots that are within the lens itself. When I run some of the different light programs under the Intellibrite settings in my phone app, I notice one of the lights is always lagging behind the others. They are all connected to my Easy Touch panel. I have tried pressing the "sync" button within the Screen Logic 2 phone app and on the Easy Touch panel itself. That just makes the lights go through the different colors somewhat synchronized except for the one that is lagging a little behind the others. As for the what kind of lights they are, I am not too sure. I know they are Pentair as is all the equipment. They are the small diameter multi-color LED lights. From looking at different ones online I think they look like the Microbrite lights. From what little I have found in posts they may simply just need to be synchronized. Just cant figure out how to do it. Anyone have experience with this?

Synchronizing Light Colors

The procedure to reset the control board inside of the lights is:
  • Turn the lights on
  • Within 10-15 seconds of turning on the lights, turn the lights on and off 31 times
This establishes a reset on the lights and resolved the issue with a members Globrite not changing colors properly. This should work for other Pentair LED color changing lights.

If your light is connected to an automation controller you may need to remove the cover where the cords for the lights come up through the conduit and connect to the feed from the transformers. Then unscrew the wire nut to the group of lights from the source transformer (black wire usually) and manually touch the power wire wires 31 times to the other wires still twisted together about 1/2 a second apart each time. We don't think there is a way to do this via automation.

Thank you for the suggestion. Just making sure it isn't a typo but you say 31 times? Is that counting the initial "turn on"? Do I have to wait for the lights to actually turn on or off? I ask this because I am doing it from my phone using the Screen Logic 2 software and have the Easy Touch automation system. Seems there should be an easier way. Tried to make sense of the manual that the installer left with the equipment, and it might as well be written in Chinese.

Yes, 31 times within 15 seconds. So that is fairly rapid on/off.

You can't do it from your phone app. You need to have a physical switch or play around with the lectrica;l wires.

Yes, Pentair did not make it simple or easy.
