Still learning this automation system but I came across the pump overides when I discovered the pump wasnt scheduled to be running yet it was. When I looked at my app under the pump it showed that none of my schedules were active, as it should but at the bottom it said in pump override. I dont really see any settings on the app in regards to pump override. The only changes I can make to it are pump speed.
I am assuming it has some kind of built in override for the heat pump as well as the SWG? Is there a way to shut it off?
Thanks

I don't have the app so am guessing a bit.

Look in the heat pump or heat schedule settings. Pump override is usually used to say to turn on the pump automatically if it is off when the water temperature is below the set point. So the water temperature is maintained at all times whether the pump is scheduled to be on or off. That means you cannot rely on the pump being scheduled off means your heat pump will also be off.

Heater override does not apply to a SWG. It is a heat pump concept to have the HP always maintain a set water temperature.

Let me know if you find the setting as we you are one of our trailblazers with the IntelliConnect and app.

I know this is an old thread and you may have figured it out but i came here looking for the answer when my pump wouldn't run a schedule. I found that the IC40 SWG while in boost most from the app has an RPM that locks in. I had hit the boost earlier today to bounce the CL. Took it out of boost and all was good.

While I have the IC30 I have not yet needed to use boost. (I read that boost will shorten the lifespan of the unit so I just use LC if I have a heavy load or heavy rain weeks. It's much cheaper). Thanks for the info because now I will know why it adjusts the pump. My pool heater will do this also. I love my Intelliconnect so far. They seem to be adding more and more support for it i've noticed.

Can you explain this a little bit better? I am having same issue but not following how to resolve it.

In the Pentair Home App, the settings for the IC40 has a boost mode that also has a RPM slider for the pump speed. If that speed is higher than the scheduled pump speed, it will override everything and run at the higher speed until the Boost is done. The pump will be in override mode.
