Hello... in setting up my PC access via ScreenLogic connect I must have fat fingered the password because I can no longer login to ScreenLogic Connect. The system has worked for months and I was screwing around in the interface and decided to setup a password. Apparently I fat fingered the password and now I can't log back in. I can't find any information on line as to how to perform a factory reset. Any pool installers out there that can give me a little help?

Thanks
Dill

Connect via Local into Config. You can then set up a new password for Remote access.

I have Intellicenter so the systems are not the same but are you able to walk out to the panel and reset password out there?

Nothing can be done via the ET panel.
Do you have the SLCONFIG app? You should be able to connect via Local with that. Also the PC software.

Marty,
Unfortunately I got into this whole mess using the ScreenLogic Connect program from my PC. That is what I am now locked out of. App doesn't work either, but that because I can't duplicate the password.

I am going to take a guess that the password is stored on the PC and not in the panel.

I would totally uninstall and delete all files and folders for ScreenLogic connect and then reinstall it on your PC. Hopefully they did not store the password in the Windows registry.

I am not home, but the PC software, if on the same network as the protocol adapter, should auto populate the IP address of the adapter. No password needed.

After setting the password in the Screenlogic setup on my PC I also lost access from my mobile devices, so I’m confident that the password is stored somewhere with Pentair.

Then the remote connection is going through the Pentair cloud servers and the password is in the Pentair cloud.

You need to call Pentair to get that reset.

If the password is stored in the Pentair cloud then resetting your system will not clear it.

Pentair has been challenged with their software development. You would think having a password reset would be a standard function for any system with a password. Somehow Pentair was thinking differently.

All you can do is call them and ask what they expect you to do. They constructed their Byzantine systems.

Marty,
This did it. I had my adapter on my IOT VLAN, I had switched it over to the main LAN to see if I could get access but was still blocked. I then rebooted the adapter so it would release the VLAN IP and grab the main LAN IP and I was able to access locally and remove the password. Everything seems to be working now.
I want to thank everyone for the helping me through my own stupidity.

Best,
Dill
