Good Morning,

I know there have been a few posts about this topic but I wanted to share my pictures for review and advice as well. Currently, my pool is drained for maintenance and I noticed a few hairline cracks in the plaster, see pictures. I believe they have been there for some time now, but I wanted to get thoughts on if I should address these while the pool is drained. I did see in another post (Hairline crack in plaster) and there appears to be a 2 part epoxy that cures underwater. My thoughts are to fill my pool and see if there are any leaks. If there are none, I will keep an eye on the cracks to see if the get worse and go from there.

Thoughts?

Appreciate any feedback!

-Greg

Greg,

Why not address them now? Filling them w the closest color to you plaster would be the best option. Also, you are not sure how long they have been there so not knowing if they are getting worse over time is hard to judge. I would fill them while the pool is empty, or fill w water in a very low position to make it much easier to repair...you have a low cost solution that can indeed fix them, then watch them over time to discern their status - good luck
