Pool filter and multiport

Hiya Confused.... come on in and sit down 
Looks like you have a sand filter but I can't tell you the brand. The multiport valve in the second picture may need its gaskets updated and lubed slightly. Do you see wet areas on the equipment pad??
Look at the waste drain...(often an open outlet or sometimes blue hose...) and do you see any dribbles of water from there while the system is turned off??

It looks like a Praher TM-12-L 1.5 Top Mount Multiport Valve.
If you can take a few more pictures from different angles we can probably make sure that is what it is.
