DFW plaster and fill! Start up question

PB was kind enough to move the light without any pushing from me. Definitely looks a lot better.
Tile and coping was finished last Thursday, 2/17. Pool decking is being set up today and inspector is coming tomorrow. Due to bad weather the rest of the week they will pour decking next week.
Having the worst time choosing a mini pebble color. It seems almost impossible to find French Gray examples online (touch of glass and puerto rico blend even more impossible!). Also considering Salt & Pepper just because it matches so nicely with the coping and tile. The darker sample in the pic is actually Caribbean Blue. Didn't have a French Gray sample available.

It's been a minute y'all! Pool is still moving along at a decent pace. All that's left is plaster. We decided to do French Gray mini with swapping 1 bag of white pebble for black pebble and abalone shells.
However, I'm concerned about a leak in the gunite. Could it just be the underground water table? Do we need to somehow fix this before plaster or will the fact that plaster is waterproof be the solution?
Second question - excavation co hit neighbors A/C condenser and they "fixed it" by just putting on a new cover plate. In actuality it needs to be replaced per a/c technician inspection I paid for. Brushing the fins will not work, but that's all the PB is offering to do additional. Will the neighbor need to take him to small claims court? Should I just pay for a new condenser out of pocket?

Those bent AC fins are not going to buff out. They are damaged enough to affect the condenser efficiency a bit.

How much money do you owe the PB? If the PB will not step up to the repair then withhold it from the final payment.

The neighbor's A/C claim would be against you, and from you to your builder. But, check your contract for who is responsible for excavation damages to peripheral within agreed access area, and, whether the contract states any claim you might have is against the contractor, not the PB.

Plaster and Fill up!
We went with Stonescapes French Gray mini pebble with an extra bag of black aggregate and a bag of abalone shell per batch. So 10 bags white pebble and 2 bags black pebble. Kinda surprised how gray-beige it turned out. I think NPT's bags of white pebble must have mostly beige rocks in it. I really wish I would've looked! I still like how it looks and I know the water color will turn a little more blue. Although the light green looks really cool with my modern colors!

Questions for the group-
For start up PB plans on adding enough muriatic acid to get pH to 6 (currently 8.7), enough Calcium increaser to get to 350 (currently 150), and using Cal-hypo to get chlorine up. I've read on TFP that acid start ups aren't great and usually takes pH down to 4.5 at least. So is pH of 6 ok at first and letting it drift up to the appropriate level? Is it ok to use cal-hypo at first?
