*FREE* - COVID Test Kit from USPS

Appreciate this info! Just requested ours. You just never know when you need one these days. Thank you.
 
This was announced last week but they said the website for ordering wouldn't open up until 12AM Wednesday morning ... weird that USPS is jumping the gun.

Well.... these COVID kits ARE the test strip kits. Not terribly reliable but good for a quick and dirty.

It is weird because if you start at the advertised site, www.covidtests.gov, the "Order" button takes you straight to the USPS site. Thanks to @PoolGate for the heads up!
 
I have said since the beginning that they should have done this. Just mail tests to every address & all those who are positive could isolate. I can’t believe it has taken this long.

These tests are prone to both user and test errors. If you are symptomatic AND test positive on one of these tests I think you can safely assume you have COVID but any other scenario is suspect.

I think they should just mail them out to everyone. What’s the point of having us ask for them anyway? It would be nice for anyone to just have these on hand.

Can’t wait to see how ingenious crooks scoop these up fraudulently get them sent to a bogus drop-off address. Then resell them on eBay for $20 a test …. You know it’s gonna happen, just a matter of time.

Doesn’t have to be crooks. No doubt people will resell the kits for $5-$20.

Let me see now if I can put on an order to my PO Box. And then to my vacation house.

And then there will be the mailbox thefts.

I may need to open a Shopify store.

I was going to mention something similar. They can spoof the usps site and then collect your email and postal address and sell it to spam marketers since they know the info is legit.

I was under the impression this was a pool website.. I see it turning into Farce-Book, which is not a good thing.

Please try to use more facts and less conspiracy theories and fear mongering...

I had more faith in you guys..
