This winter will be season 5 for our safety cover here in VA. How many more seasons (if any) should I expect to get out of it?

What kind of safety cover? My mesh Loop-Loc safety cover lasted 13 years. It was aging but would have lasted another year or two if my daughter's dog had not gotten on it and scratched a hole in it.
Hey Neemer !!! @ajw22 can confirm the exacts but he has *patches* that are several season old. So, yeah. 15 years one way or the other (possibly replacing some old patches) seems reasonable IMHO.
I think for the most part when they fail early it’s because they got snagged on a fence while moving, mice got it in storage, or something with sharp feet tore it while covered.
