What does your pool paradise look like?

Thank you! We love it!
Dude your spot looks sweet, read that whole build thread and watching that all come together was awesome. I love everything about your crib. The view from the shed to the back of the house is sweet. The house looks sweet with all the nice touches, the doors and windows, everything. Chi town houses look cool. I think of the Untouchables every time I'm in those old neighborhoods. "Nice house! Huh? l said, nice house! Do you live there? Little girl's havin' a birthday, huh? Yes. Nice to have a family. Yes, it is. A man should take care, see that nothin' happens to them."

Thanks! It was definitely a labor of love. Almost everyone we’ve shown pictures to or who have seen it in person are really complimentary. Took two years and nine months from inception of the idea… to the completed project. Thanks for following along. Hopefully some people will learn from our experience. I’ll keep the pictures coming!

Our pool was finished in April 2020. Never thought we'd get a pool, but my spouse had shoulder surgery and the neighbors let her use their pool for some rehab exercises. She fell in love with a pool and as you know, "happy wife, happy life!" We love our pool.

Interesting, the young lady took the cushion off, too warm? We went with rattan type chaise, because of that exact reason. curious if that is why? Love your pics as it really gives us a good sense of what a 16 x 40 really looks like with houses in background, chaise, people etc. Gives great depth perspective and how that size of pool looks with decking etc. Everything looks really nice, congrats!!!

Thanks for the comments! My wife doesn't like the cushions because they get dirty so she takes them off, she's weird.

Another aspect of paradise. After hitting a few balls, a quick dip cools me off for more practice! Garmin recently launched an affordable launch monitor/simulator, so I’ll be able to play any course right next to my pool! Paradise indeed!

Here's my first attempt at a drinks cart station. The portable ice maker is super clutch. Didn't need the little Ryobi fan because the temps were lower and I got the fan mounted in time to enjoy the family pool party.

Do tell! Which model did you decide on?
Garmin Approach R-10. It’s been released, but hard to find. Lead time is 3-5 weeks. I haven’t ordered it yet because I just bought a Garmin GPS watch. Gotta spread those golf purchases out, otherwise I might get the hairy eyeball from my wife.

If the R-10 does what they say, it will compete with $2000 units. R-10 costs $600.

Wowsers. Game changer. You've got me thinking more about adding a simulator to my patio pool paradise. My brother's kids made pretty eager caddies at the pool party, and I've probably got the cleanest shag balls in the state. It's also fun to doink birdieballs out into the backyard.
