We have several pool mats but for some reason I like these the best.

I have had my eye on that one. So you really do like it? Does it stay up in a sitting position pretty well?
No it's more like your feet are propped up on an ottoman... but it's a comfortable angle... so easy to fall asleep on if you're in the pool by yourself.

Where's the chair that has batteries in the arm rests to propel the chair around?
I would love one of these but they are so expensive! Whenever I’m in the float I end up being blown into other people and having to paddle away. I’m always wishing for a propeller at those times 😂.

Then, we have some friends who keep these on their boat for the lake... Amazon.com: SwimWays Spring Float Papasan - Mesh Float for Pool or Lake - Light Blue / Lime: Toys & Games

Not sure how long they have had them, but they were really comfortable, and I like the fact that they are collapsible with not a lot of inflatable area, so you aren't waiting around to suck the air out of them. I will probably be buying a few of these this year also.
+1 on this float.

I might be a day late on this, but we have had several of these for YEARS (got them when we owned a boat) and they are freaking awesome. We have bought other floaties that "looked cool" but we have always gone back to these. We even take them on vacation as they are very easy to inflate/deflate and take up very little room in luggage.

Oh, and I can nap like a champ on this thing. You wouldn't think so, but once you get balanced right (not difficult to do) off to sleep land!

Edit: I see the link to AMZN shows this at $39.95...oye! BUT...if you select the other two colors (aqua or blue) then it's just $14.99...that is a great deal.

Hi, Ava! This is kind of my specialty so I’d be happy to help! I think you will love this one and it’s super durable and high quality. I have had mine for 2 years. This is perfect if you want to float/lounge without getting wet. It’s perfect for reading a book or having a drink. I’ve also never fallen off of it, unlike my other ones lol. It is currently $42 on Amazon. I paid around $27 for it a couple years ago during the off-season. Oh and it has a cup holder but I don’t really like where it is placed but it gets the job done! I added pics of mine so you can get a better idea. It is still holding up strong and is much larger than it appears in the photos (my cotton candy float is ginormous and makes it look small in the last pic lol!) Here is the link:

Last pic is from right after we put up and filled the pool (2019), so I didn’t have my Hayward thru-wall skimmer yet or any landscaping around the pool — so this pic bugs me but it’s a good shot of the float, haha.
I have a question about this one. Do you have any problems reaching the water with your hands? The picture makes it look like she can’t really reach the water very easily. I like to keep splashing myself to cool down.
