Works great on flies, mosquitoes, and any small bugs. It will also works on yellow jackets and red wasps, but you will need more than one shot.
So our pool lights finally worked!!! We had a blast. Swam till 10pm!!!!! One of my twins did not want to put his face in the water the last few years then I begged him to try the goggles that cover the nose. He gave in and was like OMG THIS IS AWESOME I LOVE GOING UNDER WATER I'M NEVER GETTING OUT OF THE POOL!!! 
I can't believe how clear our water was at night and we didn't have many bugs. I kind of expected to be attacked by them. Haha.

My TFtest supplies arrive today! Whew... The pavers haven't been delivered yet. Suppose to be today but as the afternoon ticks on I am sad... I mean not really, we are happy to be swimming... but I'm looking forward to this being done.
Landscaper was told pavers are in. Thinking that they loaded them friday but haven't delivered. He plans to be here monday!

I scrubbed the weir door & inside of the skimmer. Looks like there was a dark brown area on the skimmer wall so I scrubbed that off. I will keep checking the skimmer area. Otherwise pool looks fantastic and for whatever reasons we have had no issues with iron so hope that continues!
The pool is holding chlorine so much better after I scrubbed the skimmer! Finally!
The pool looks great with the lights on, @Snoobug. Looks fully luminated. How many lights is that (and what kind)? Does the floor look good under those lights?
Floor looks great! We have 2 lights, one in the shallow end, one in the deep, both facing away from the house. I thought maybe we over did it with the lights but definitely not. The littles like being able to inspect the one in the shallow end.
They are Pentair Intellibrites.
Scrubbed the skimmer yet again. Do you guys get a dirty ring around the waterline inside the skimmer?
I am now using a paper towel to wipe it clean. Should I leave the skimmer lid off? It was not green when I wiped...
Good. Get as much as you can out for good everytime either way. On the walls there isn’t much you can to to remove it so you have to brush to disturb it into the water but anywhere you can get it out, do so.
Getting some sunlight there won’t hurt in the meantime. I know your kids aren’t roaming free back there, but make it known to be careful back there nonetheless.
I'm thinking about doing the thing where I turn off the pump. Shut the weir door. Drop some LC and scrub and let it sit... how do I keep the weir door shut?
