I have a Dolphin Triton PS that was recommended on here. I have had it for 4.5 years. It started stopping mid vacuum and now it won't work at all. So I need a replacement. I believe I got it from Doheny's. Is this still one of the most recommended vacuums? I cannot locate it on the website, so wondering if it isnt being made?

Have you googled a repair place for Dolphins in your area? That might be something to check out first, even though it's past warranty it may be easier to fix it then scouring the internet looking for another one. Also try the Maytronics site, perhaps their chat support can troubleshoot it for you. I also know some models have a reset button on the power supply too.

Amazon has the Triton in stock, you can have it by the 26th.

That's a great idea. I did email Maytronics. I did't even think of that. I will check for a reset. I didn't see one, but I could have missed it

Any error codes to go along with your issues?
I would pull the motor block out and make sure you don't have a restriction around the motor impeller such as hair or whatever could have bypassed the filter over time. Also look carefully at the drive mechanisms both sides to see if all is on track and restrictions. Any restriction of the aforementioned ones can and will strain the motor and the built in overload may kick in until it cools down.

My friend with a pressure side cleaner can't get parts for it. Sersee, for the benefit of others with robotic pool cleaners, can you share how you've used and stored your Dolphin?
Thanks.
Bill
