Pool leaking water, not sure what to do.

So my pool I noticed leaks water only when pump is on high to run the cleaner. It floods the low ground and gets everything pretty mushy. I thought it was a pipe leak on the return near the spa since that’s were water shows up first but now I’m not sure it’s a pipe.

I’ve started digging next to spa and notice water pours into my hold on the surface just under the pavement. So I let the hole dry and kept the pump off. Well I left this morning and my float got stuck that regulates the water level and filled the pool very high where it barely touches the pavement. My hole was filled with water and it after sucking it, out it quickly filled up from just under the pavement. So now I think it’s when the spa over fills which happens when pool pump is running high as most of the return goes there and spills into pool.

It doesn’t appear to be any cracks anywhere but there is a hole above each jet so thought maybe something with those but im not sure.

Any ideas what to check or who yo call to help with something like this?

It is hard to follow your description. Maybe posting pics showing us your spa and pool area and where the hols you dug is may help us understand your situation?

There are leak detection companies who have tools to pinpont underground pipe leaks.

Well actually I figured out the problem yesterday. So on the edge of the spa that’s connected to the pool, it’s cracked just above the tile but below the lip of the patio. When the pump is on high, the water goes above that and that’s when it leaks.

What would I seal that with?

The cracks above the tile. With the pump on any speed higher than low, it fills up to thos cracks and seeps out the other side and gets the ground all soft and flooded.

I want to seal it with something that will be able to stay under water for a few hours so the pump can run at a higher speed while the robot runs. Most of the caulking I saw at the store was just for bathrooms, not really to stay under water fit any length of time.

There are sealants designed for pools that run about $50 a tube, or you can try a polyurathan based caulk or marine caulk designed for under or above water applications. Amazon carries pool sealant and local pool stores probably do too.
