I received my test kit and jumped in head first I have tested three days in a row now and will post my results. I have read and reread the pool school articles and I think I have a tendency to overthink My TA is high but my CSI is ok for now
Salt is a bit high and CYA low as well as I would like add borates. I know how to lower salt by replacing water (do I need to turn off SWG at all or reduce to 50% or?). What should I focus on first? Any suggestions are appreciated.
On a side note: I did a quick chlorine and ph test of our tap water and the ph showed 8.2 and chlorine was dark yellow showing high chlorine levels, which I will check again at their postings.
